Olaf Emker began his professional career in the personnel services industry after graduating in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience as a personnel consultant in Executive and Professional Search and has held various management positions.

Following his transition to a leading provider of personnel, IT, and engineering services, he took on the responsibility of establishing and successfully positioning the FERCHAU DIRECT division (Executive & Professional Search). In his role as Head of DIRECT, he spearheaded the integration of the new division into the group, defined its vision, mission, goals, and strategy, and ensured their operational implementation. Olaf Emker was also responsible for the acquisition and integration of new personnel consultants and oversaw the establishment of eleven personnel consulting locations in Germany.

In 2025, Olaf Emker joined the management team of Rochus Mummert, where he jointly oversees the Rochus Mummert digital division with Stefan Brodbeck.

Rochus Mummert digital specializes in the national and international search and recruitment of experts and managers for IT and digitalization functions. The projects come from a wide range of clients: DAX corporations, large medium-sized businesses to hidden champions.
